International Blues Day 1st August Pillars of 6 OF bLUES pERFOMANCE

The International Blues Music Day event is shaping up to be an absolute cracka! For the “6 Pillars” of blues performance you are involved in, I will need you to send me the following: - 15min set list of the songs you will sing, plus one spare. - The key in which you will sing each song. - A reference recording that can be found on the internet, or provided as an attachment with your setlist. This information is required to help the backing band prepare for the performance, and to provide adequate time to write 3 piece horn section arrangements where required. It would be greatly appreciated if you could have this information to me by Friday, May 8, as each member of the backing band is committed to providing you the best musical support possible. > Kind regards, > > Shaun Ballagh > > BASEQ > > IBMD Event Coordinator > > shbsax68@gmail.com > > 0429 087 874

Hi Fraser, An update on the IBD for you. Your performance on QSM main stage as part of the backing band will commence at 12 midday until 2:30 pm, and will comprise of 3 30 minute sets on Saturday, August 1.
I have organised the use of a Korg SV1 for your use if you need it or find it to be an appropriate piece of equipment. I will keep you in mind as an alternate vocalist if it is needed, and very much appreciate the offer.

In negotiation with Brisbane Marketing, I managed to raise the fee for the backing band to $200 and a parking voucher. A link will be sent to you in April for your contract through Brisbane Marketing.

Thank you again for your participation in International Blues Day 2015. Kind regards, Shaun Ballagh
